Challenge

Mahnaz Food is a household name in Malaysia, but their search rankings didn’t reflect that. High-authority e-commerce marketplaces consistently outranked them for valuable product terms, and even when social media content went viral, that attention wasn’t converting into organic search traffic. Revenue was slipping to competitors who simply showed up higher on the results page. The task was to identify how Primal could close that gap and bring their search presence in line with their offline reputation.

To make everyone's life healthier with premium imported products.

Approach

We focused on three key areas: technical health, bilingual content, and seasonal timing. Our team started with an audit to clear out indexation bloat and fix crawlability issues holding the site back. From there, we built a content plan in both English and Malay to reach a wider slice of the Malaysian market. A key part of how Primal approached this project was by aligning a keyword matrix of commercial and educational search terms with a content calendar timed around peak periods like Ramadan and Christmas. Authority building through quality backlinks and on-site structural improvements tied the whole plan together.

Results

How Primal delivered meaningful outcomes was through consistent, trend-driven content paired with solid technical groundwork. Monthly blog articles tapped into real-time search trends and social momentum, while a shift from product-only pages to helpful, FAQ-style content gave users a reason to stay and explore. A strong internal linking structure and credible external references lifted domain authority across the board. Within six months, the site had gone from a basic storefront to a trusted resource, achieving a 4.4x increase in organic purchases, 4.5x growth in organic revenue, and 94% of target keywords sitting on page one.
