Challenge

Polo Haus had built a strong name across Malaysian departmental stores since the 1980s, but that reputation wasn’t translating online. Their organic visibility in a saturated fashion sector was low, and the e-commerce side of the brand wasn’t keeping pace with competitors who had already made the digital shift. The task was to identify how Primal could bridge the gap between Polo Haus’s heritage brand status and the demands of modern search algorithms, turning offline recognition into online performance.

Here at Polo Haus, we strive to exceed our customer’s expectation everyday.

Approach

We focused on two key areas: technical site health and search relevance for men’s ready-to-wear fashion. Our team ran a detailed technical audit to uncover architectural weaknesses within the e-commerce platform, then built an SEO roadmap covering both on-site structural improvements and off-site authority building. A key part of how Primal approached this project was by aligning keyword targeting with the brand’s seasonal boutique offerings, making sure the site spoke to both legacy customers and new audiences searching for fashion in Malaysia.

Results

How Primal delivered meaningful outcomes was through a combination of on-page optimisation and strategic off-site work. We resolved critical crawl errors to improve site performance, refined metadata and internal linking structures, and secured quality backlinks to strengthen domain authority. Over eight months, these technical improvements drove a clear uplift in organic impressions and click-through rates. The site now functions as a proper digital flagship for the brand, achieving a 93.24% increase in revenue, 56.71% growth in new users, and 87.67% more page views.
